Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

124KW - 168hp - engine wasnt overly exciting, but came with close ratio gearbox, and a short LSD, so the drive was still qite spirited
also came with bilstein suspension, full recaro leather interior, mtech body kit and 16" BBS rims.
i bought it for $8k and sold it 18 months later for $14k2007 Audi RS4 with: APR ECU Upgrade; JHM Quick Shifter; Milltek Catback and Downpipes; KW V3 Coilovers; Argon Creative Carbon Fibre Splitters

Theres a 325/528 M sport (I can't remember which one sorry) Thats for sale atm in Brisbane I think which has pretty much the same features as your car did just with the beefier 150kw motor, asking for 8500 if I remember correctly with around 190k.
Got anymore pictures of the 325 Gareth?80,000km 1997 MK3 VR6 manual for sale - www.vwwatercooled.org.au/forums/f23/80-000km-1997-manual-vr6-nsw-sydney-67658.html

the e30s are a great car, and the interior (and exterior) didnt seem to date like other cars do.
I was quite lucky as I bought it, knowing it was a private import, but didnt realise until after I'd bought it that the aussie compliance versions werent genuine motorsports, but something BMW Oz whipped up from std 325i's. The private imports will command a much better price.
