i agree mk2 definitely best looking. the mk1 doesnt even have a bloody subframe i mean wtf! mk1 is just a hunk of metal with a few wheels on it. mk2 is a real car.

coming from a non biased person (myself) i would have to say the mk1 and mk3 are the best looking.......by far!

in saying that, all VW's can look nuts when done properly but in regards to the golfs, the 1 and the 3 just have that extra edge.
