No, it is a HSV, just wears a different badge! But it's pretty much the same as we get here, save a few visual and mechanical tweaks.

a few mechanical tweeks? Last i checked they get one with a supercharger as an option. Havent seen HSV delivering anything like that locally!

well, the standard VXR8, is pretty similar, the charger isn't a standard feature. or atleast thats's what I'm lead to believe.

Walkinshaw offer a supercharger upgrade, but it seems pretty tame - CAPA and crowds like that offer superchargers with much bigger numbers - 450KW for example.

Yeah supercharge is a option here aswell. Walkshaw (spelling?) is ~500hp supercharged, dunno when it comes out though. I have seen a R8 or some crap with a supercharger standard, sticker on teh side and cant miss the sound.

i saw an article in Motor Magazine a while back - Walkinshaw offered a supercharger upgrade for $20k, delivering 500hp.

My normally aspirated GT-P delivers 500hp and the upgrades cost a whole lot less than $20k
