Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Thats a 'big block' in the world of mini's.
Not compared to the race motors at home, or his previous 1430 stroker it's not

          • Moke lovers need to head up to Magnetic Island off Townsville. It's a beautiful spot in the tropics, and the majority of cars there are mokes for hire. We had this one for the day for $50 or so. Great fun!

'Maggie' is only a short ferry ride from the mainland, and a great spot to explore.

            • I agree on the comments on Magnetic Island.
Lovely place, very relaxed atmosphere, really only 1 road but it has a nice view and some good twisties.
Plus lots of great bay's to explore and have a swim in that you can drive to with the Moke's.

Maybe so but it started as a 1275. I have an A+ in my 63 mini, that I'm thinking of supercharging.
