Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Personally i'm not a fan, looks too cartoonish. Wheels are immense though.

I have to say yes and no really.

I thought he would have done something a little more different but obviously not. I could have sworn seeing him talk about 11x19 wheels for the rear or did I just not see it properly???

His car is very OEM including the US bumpers.
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

      Need more dish

It is nice and clean, it is very OEM (which I personally like) but from those pics it's definately not anything jaw droppingly special.... but I still like it

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

paint is immense but the fornt fitment is terrible, loving the kit and the height but with that rear fitment the front looks even more woeful.Pretty sure the rears are close if not 11's though. I like the styling though,as kits go its how I like to think VW would have added arches if they done a proper hot mk4 like they should have

i think its fairly spot on for what it is, i knew i made the rite decision painting my centres silver.

would be spot on in the flesh

There's a lot more done to it than meets the eye I reckon. Fitment of the wide-body kit from Sweden/Switzerland/wherever it was looks perfect, almost as if it could've came out of the VW factory like that. Mk3 Pzwo mirrors look better on his car than any Mk3 I've seen. Blacked-out housings in the headlights fits the car really well. Clear rear glass would've been hard to source, and same with the US bumpers as well, though I'm sure he's saturated with contacts from all over the world being PVW editor.

I guess the only thing I don't like at the moment is the rear wheel fitment. Maybe fitting 19's were too big, he's on air and not tucking makes the rear look really high. I would've like to see them tucked, or just went all out and had some decent poke and some monster dish while he was at it. But "hellaflush" like that, he should've went for smaller wheels!

Overall though, I'm a huge fan!

Looks awesome except that it's been lowered too far and is running stretched rubber but that's just my opinion.
