  • Look what i got up to last night...................

I just can't help myself, esp. when it comes to a bargain:

    [EBAY]280545963177[/EBAY]

damm ebay links are down it is Item:280545963177 ...can someone help an (ancient) X-gender like me & post it up ?

The seller/vendor rang me yesterday morning (about 12 hrs b4 the auction closed) and was very straight with me and the OzBenz forum guys & lots of Sydney 'Benz guys had already established the car was as genuine as it looks in the photos.....I knocked everyone out with one (+ 1 decent-sized) bid within the last 1.5 minutes....

Hope to fly up to Sydney and drive it back ASAP....

Hawk_edit: Not exactly the link I was looking for and it's in USD, but you get the idea

    Congrats mate..awesome bargain!
Man, i'm rapt when i bid last minute for bargains on bluray dvd's or PS3 games..nothing like this!! Well done!

Me personally, the car doesn't do much for me, but my brother is a freak for this model and would like to know when you'll be driving back from Sydney so he can car jack you! He's very impressed and doubly jealous of you!

    Enjoy your new purchase!!

p.s. Did you read the questions on the listing? Laughed at the 2nd one.

    Cheers,

    Jayse.

Nice! Not the best looking series but it's still a MB coupe!
Looks like it's in damn fine condition too.

yes, the 86 y.o story is actually true, as he suggested on the Ozbenz Forum that I should consider buying this car, but I thought it would go for $10k +
