I'd happily give GAP or any foreign company my money before I gave it to ****ing Wolfsburg.

I received another parcel from GAP too just yesterday, took about 5ish days.
But keep in mind parts don't get moved once they are in Australia on the weekend, I think my package stayed at Mascot all weekend and some of Monday.
Still very impressed with their service and packaging.MK2 - *Insert list of dealer purchased extra's/standard features here*

Hey guys
Ive ordered a lot of VR6 parts from GAP... approx 32 pounds worth.. (190 postage).
im concerned with the time of arrival with my package..
It says 14th.. it was on its way on the 1st...
Anyway it took 3-4 days to make it to mascot Sydney and now it seems like it hasn’t moved in the last 4 days??
It only has to make its way to tammworth.. It doesn’t make sense that they would estimate 10 days until it arrives there?
Has anyone experienced any delays in postage for the larger bulk packages?
Only reason for my impatience’s is that im on a dead line and i need to be back by the 14th....

Then did the same again when it got to Brisbane.
Also the online tracking system is not always 100% correct.MK2 - *Insert list of dealer purchased extra's/standard features here*

Just ordered some hard to find parts for my MK2.
I don't mind waiting 10 days to get them, car is still drivable.
I rang my closest Euro parts place- most they didn't have in stock.
With the exchange rate the way it is - most parts were 1/2 to 1/3 the price ordering from GAP.
Looking forward to my boxed goodies!! Evap tank and all new new hoses, boot struts, gaskets galore and some interior bits!
I love my local Auto shop for easy grab bits like belts and lubricants etc but I find it so frustrating trying to find anything more than that up here.sigpic07 GTI
