Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Nothing useful to contribute as always......

If people took the time to see how all it does is prolong their suffering and line corrupt pockets along the way they might think twice before donating.

Oh man, this is so, so, soooo polically and morally incorrect I don't even want to begin arguing against that naive and self centered statement. I agree with you, the world is over populated, but is the answer to that is to just let people die?! Die cruel, painful deaths? Deaths due to disease, starvation and abuse?
This is the way life was... How do you think population was controlled before disease prevention, vaccines and medicine??

I agree with both Mav and Rocket... If you have seen how World Vision, UNICEF and any number of these so called "Aid Agencies" work in Third World contries first hand, you will quickly spend your money elsewhere. I have, and they are all corrupt agencies with no more interest in your money than any other company.

Over population is a completely separate issue. This is about a major class division.

            Its a societal breakdown.
            A failing of governments.

There's no solution to the problems in the African countries. The issues there are so complex, they have their own people ripping them off blind, the education levels are so low that they believe all the propaganda and many of the countries have no chance.

Take a look at Zimbabwe as one example, the whole country has been destroyed, the farms that once gave Zimbabwe most of it's income have been mostly destroyed for the sake of quick gains selling farm equipment off cheap. Since 1990 life expectancy has dropped from 60 to 44. Over 1.5 million have HIV and this is spreading rapidly. No amount of money, food or medical aid will help them, they have to want to help themselves and fight for change.
