I didn't necessarily think a thread needed to have an apparent direction? I mean, it's a public forum, i thought the idea was to diversify with other people and their views? It would all be a little bland if everyone came here and expressed the same opinion as everyone else would it not? Why can't a discussion/debate be had without calls being made how "pointless" it is?

If drivers continue this legislation loving, "I saw it written somewhere so it must be true" mentality this whole place is going down the can. For shame..

I sure hope if someone is breaking into your home you remember your anti cop attitude and instead of dialing 000 for help you call for a pizza instead.

The driver was pulled over by the police officer and was let off with a warning. You don't know what the reasons were for him being pulled over and neither does the OP apart from the number plate.

I understand your point, but these threads come up so often and they always go down the same path, people who like cops and respect what they do, and others that come to have a winge about being pulled over and not even being given a fine and how unfair that is and how in the wrong the police officer must have been.

How is it irrelevant? You have a group of people who hate cops and criticise everything they do but at the same time they're willing to call the cops when they're in trouble and those same cops will put their lives on the line to help. If people want to go around carrying on about cops all the time they shouldn't ring the cops for help.

The OP is whining about being pulled over and giving a warning and finishes off by calling the officer a ****head when the officer was just doing his job. And the usual cop haters come out of the shadows to put the boot in with comments like "the cop was playing god" and that he should complain about being harassed by the police.
