Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • So....I Finally popped the big question

As you have probably already guessed by reading the heading,

I finally decided it was time to pop the big question to my partner jess today whilst on our day trip out to Marysville.

Her story goes that i got on one knee and pulled out a ring but my story goes that i slipped over on a rock and landed on one knee and that rock just so happened to land in my hand.

Oh yeah and she said yes,

But our day was topped of by the number of nice vw's i saw, Fav's were the 2 R36 wagons in marysville.

Congratulations! HAve you convinced her you need all VW's for the wedding cars yet?

I'm debating which quote is more appropriate, my signature or my other favourite: "Marriage means commitment, but then so does insanity". To be fair I can't say too much since I'm 10 years in this year myself

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

                          No convincing required Hawk,

She has already said she wants White R36 wagons.

Who knows by the time we decide to set a date we may just have one ourselves.

                              Thanks man,

We were up bright and early and we ended up having an early lunch just after 11 and ee left at around 12ish,.

I was spewen, i didn't even know there was a cruise on. If i had of we would have cruised up with you all as we were in the jetta and then just went on our own way.

Would have been good to have 2 blue graphite jetta's.
