    eBay US

Here is a link to eBay in the US for Homelink transmitters.

A word of caution. I am not completely sure that the frequencies that US Homelink transmitters work on are the same frequencies for Australia. You should confirm that before buying one from the US.

Is it easy to reverse (i.e. remove the stickers)?

Depends if the blanks actually do anything or not... actually even just the blanks look better!

Adding switches to the blank switch covers in the centre console of the Volkswagen Golf and Jetta

Most of the remotes used in Australia now are rolling code and won't work.

Far easier to modify your existing remove, do the switch mod (Adding switches to the blank switch plates in the centre console of the Volkswagen Golf and Jetta), attach the switch to the remote, power the remote from the accessory socket or permanent power if required and mount it under the centre console area.

Were you tired last night Maverick ?

The first half of your first sentence makes no sense.

The second half of your first sentence is a matter of personal assessment. I was relieved to see that mine differed from yours.

And what exactly is the relevance of the link ?

Ha ! Thanks Coreying, I had figured that out.

I just didn't see how it had anything to do with what we were talking about. No one asked how to do that.

And I said that the blanks look better than putting "funny" stickers on them. And noted that the blanks can actually be used for a purpose as well.

Showing that the buttons can be used for something other than cheap tacky stickers that cheapen the interior! And that modifications to the car don't have to be in your face or even visible.
