I came pretty close to buying it but it really wasn't $80,000 better value for money than the R36.
On a side note - they would compare the clubsport against them and that'd be a fair comparison...Last edited by 99gti; 29-04-2010, 11:25 PM.Originally posted by WhubbsieThere is nothing better than a polo badge, thats why you will notice Veyron drivers with polo gti badges.... they know where the true sizzles at!

As for comparing the R36 to the RS4, M3 and C63, I can compare it and you know why? Because the R36 doesn't cost $150,000 to drive it off the showroom floor. So while I am sure I would have loved owning the C63 and I came very close to owning it (it's the best of the other three), I decided the R36 is better VALUE FOR MONEY. I.e. less than half the price but not half the performance. None of the other three options are worth $80,000 more. The R36 is the perfect compromise.
You're entitled to think what you like of course, but that doesn't mean you're right. It's just your opinion. Like I said, bottom line is I'm happy.

Maybe people don't like type of car which drive? Like: How many people removed VW badges from Golf or Jetta or Polo etc. - but I can not understand WHY ??? Maybe they don't like to drive europe cars or they look like better. But I did not see any BMW, Mercedes Benz, Ford, Toyota ... without badges. VW without VW badges at front and rear is same like writing letter i and forgot put fulstop on the top.Last edited by VW VR6; 30-04-2010, 02:39 AM.R36 > MK5 2006 1.9 TDI > MK4 2003 1.6 Generation > MK3 1995 2.8 VR6 > MK2 1990 1.6 > MK1 1982 1.8 GTI

This sort of debate is never going to go down well on here, no one is at all impartial
