Corporate Discounts? Which ones?

I got Corporate Plus just based on the amount of employees my company has. Had nothing to do with what I was a member of, or how many fleet cars they have. None of that was even asked. I just told the dealer who I worked for and was given Corporate Plus Discount.

Bam, unfortunately it is not the dealer that grants the rebate, it is VGA.
You actually have to fill out a Corporate application which VGA has to approve.
So, obviously the dealer will say anything to get your signature on a contract, knowing that ultimately it is not up to him to grant the rebate.

I hope it all works out for you though, my corporate plus discount was over $4,500.

So do CBA.. however as per Big_Dave's comment you need to sign the template document under 2 conditions, one of which the car makes up a salary/ renumeration component of your package.. unless you are undertaking a lease whereby the discounts would apply anyway or it is a car allowance for your work/role.. you cant get it..

I negotiated this when I bought mine only to find VGA have recently changed all the rules and could not get the discounts but they said if I was a member of a professional organisation such as ACS it would apply.. I am .. so went back to get it all confirmed and it appears that ACS is not on thier accredited list.. so basically I have told the dealer that they provided the guidance it is their problem

I believe the Australian Architects Institute A+ membership still offers fleet discount on selected VW models, I think most except for the R.

I got about $4k off my GTI and it was printed on the dealers quote as Corporate plus discount so i guess based on that it must have been. And I did not have to fill out any paperwork at the dealer.

Got mine, from the Planning Institute of Australia, and I believe you can also get one if you are a member of APESMA (The Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers, Australia).
