I wish I had the problem of driving less than 15,000 in any 12 month period.

The more I read into this, the more confusing it gets, according to Skodas Variable Service interval, QG1, oil changes are at 30,000 km unless a lower grade oil is used then it is 15,000 km. I think I ll stick to the 15,000 km. The service department are claiming QG1 services do not apply to Australia but no where in the Owners manual, Service Schedule or Australian supplement does it state this.

Unfortunately, your car is due for service Antiplastix.
My car is due for the 60,000km next week. I'm still not sure where to go to get the service done.
I don't want to go back to Wakelings again because (a) they no longer have access to any Skoda TSBs or software updates; (b) they want to charge what appears to be an excessive amount of money (original quote $950 which eventually came down to $750 when i questioned how they arrived at the price).
So my alternatives are:- Trivett Blacktown which is 50km away & I'd have to get a loan car or hang around.
- Nepean Motor Group which is near our Head Office, so I could go to work but I've never heard a good word about Nepean MG.
- Moss Vale Skoda - long term Volvo & Pugeot dealers so they understand Euro cars. Country dealership (more likely to get a long term employed mechanic) which is 100km down the road & 20km from one of our branches. Was thinking of dropping the car in & going for a bike ride. First quote for the service was $650 without having to haggle.
- Camden GTI - just around the corner from work. I don't know how to read that mob, have heard some good reports & bad reports. Convenience might win though.
- Southern Classic at Wollongong - nothing but bad reports.

We are moving right in front of our current location to a big new purpose built complex.
It has street frontage, more service bays and still retains the parts facilities that we have always had.
Come down and check it out.
