Count me in I work in Haymarket so I'll just have to stay back that night and make my way over.

And the bonus, the light rail goes right to the door, which surely beats walking there in the heat and/or rain. For those who would be using public transport to get there, train it to Central station, the jump on the light rail to Pyrmont. Adults are $5.70 return and you want the John St Square stop which is the Cnr Harris & John St .

Parking in Pyrmont is pretty good at night. Google's head office is there so at night the hundreds of employees go home usually leaving lots of space. Otherwise you can walk from Townhall across Pyrmont Bridge, or get the light rail as suggested by The_Hawk. There is a map on the page below.

needless to say from my posting time that im not going , after weeks of rearanging work times , booking flights and accomidation my gf got some bad news yesterday , without going into details , im spending the weekends with her. sorry guys
