Not around it, but close to

The track itself doesn't look too bad.... Most of the overtaking opportunities will be in the corners and they are looking at very high speeds down the main straight aswell..

Be nice is once the precident was set they could have another sort of motorsport use the track. Classic rallying or the like would get me out there.

I think its a good choice of venue, as the transport to the place is all there, id doesnt really go anywhere and no-one lives there. except George. Sorry Mate.

Our local pollies spent over 40 mill on a horse training and racetrack a few years ago because our premier at the time had race horses!! Its crazy stuff.

The NSW round of the V8s was the most poorly attended of the lot of them per head of population, Tassie was the best, I think it was an Eastern Creeks management problem and they have built this new track to bring the racing to the public.
Be good to see you sometime George, you are always welcome mate!

          Lots of truth here.
The Territorians turn out in good numbers as well.

          Adelaide has Clipsal
          Melbourne has the GP
Gold Coast had Indy (stuffed now though)
Sydney deserves better than Eastern Creek. Getting corporates to roll up to an industrial estate next to a dump did nothing for the sport's image.
