  • Audi A6 in pieces...

    Fatal accident in Brisbane today.

All the airbags in the world can't protect idiots from themselves...

I saw that on the news, what a horrible thing to happen. How fast would they have been going to split a car like that in half though, crazy people.

Horrible for the people at the house too.

Isn't this just another case of natural selection? lol

Seriously, sucks to be a passenger in this sort of thing. I have no problem with moronic drivers taking themselves out but not innocent passengers or bi-standers.

Ouch! Yeah, Darin Award candidate or not, it's a horrible thing to happen. I'm just trying to imaging the forces necessary to carve a car up like that!

What amazes me is that ANYONE survived that (two of the three occupants did)...
          Nothing to see here...

            Pics:

Apparently it was an A8 not an A6.

There's some confusion - newspaper says A8, but a lot of others saying A6...

I wasn't going to view this until madglf3 said it was chopped in half..

That's just ridiculous. I offer sincere condolences to the family but I pray that the idiot driving gets more than what they deserve.

The "idiot driving" I believe was killed, so pretty sure did get what they deserved...

I read somewhere that it was a passenger who died, not the driver...

According to the news report it was a female Korean student that was driving. If you recall a few weeks back there were also two Chinese exchange students racing on the M4(?) who both totaled their cars at speed in excess of 150. These weren't "locals" interestingly enough.

Sad to see passengers hurt, whilst the guilty driver survives, but at least this loony didn't take another innocent car with them.

She deserves to be banned from driving period!
