Interesting Drives out of Brisbane

Hi, I am looking for suggestions for a good half - three quarter days return drive from Brisbane.

We have of course done Mt Nebo, Mt Mee and Tambourine Mountain.

All suggestions welcome.

Brisbane to Mt Lindesay/NSW boarder via the Mt Lindesay Hwy (13), then follow the Summerland Way (B91) to Casino. Head east towards Lismore and towards the coast towards Byron Bay, back up the motorway home. Pretty easy scenic drive.

For a little bit of more advance driving once crossing over the boarder from Mt Lindesay head west towards Woodenbong and follow the Clarence Way south until the Bruxner Hwy. On that T intersection you could go east towards Casino or west to Tenterfield and follow the New England Hwy to Warwick and then home.

Allow a good 6 hours for either and expect little phone reception.
