Golf GTI value

Hi all my son has passed his December 2014 platebuilt Golf GTI to me to sell , I have looked online at a few sites but it gets confusing as to values . The car is white and paint and body and trim are in perfect order he,s the second owner , 79000kays good rubber all around and 6 months rego most services are upto date and it runs like a charm . I get all sorts of prices and need to know what i might expect as a resale , so far I see prices for sale onsome sites from $24k and then as high as $30K and then I checked with Carsguide for a quick valuation and they say $20k ???? Thanks for any suggestions in advance Howard . PS The car is in Qld Brisbane area .
