    Hi all,

I’m keen to hear your thoughts on the Carsales iOS app. What do you love or hate about it?

It's quicker than flicking open the laptop/tablet.

It doesn't always work smoothly though, so if you're waiting on a message from a buyer I'd tend to manually re-check it.

We just sold a car last week after advertising on Carsales for about 5-6 weeks. App seems to work fine - it used to be a bit buggy about 6 months ago and would just randomly shut down, but in the past 5-6 weeks that we were using it to sell a car it worked fine.

I sold a car on there a few weeks back, the app worked okay for me. Only thing I used on there was the messaging tool to reply to prospective buyers and troll low ballers.
For the ad itself, writing it up and uploading pics etc I used the computer.

Thanks everyone. I should have mentioned I’m the team lead and curious to hear from some real users.

You get better feedback when we don't know that.

I'm with CC, I set up my adverts at a desktop, but use the app to keep up to date on things and especially to have fun with the low ball trolls.

Of course I won't need to use the product for a while now unless I want to face a divorce.

Myself and 8 other human beings work on the Carsales iPhone app, and our latest update (which was a big rebuild underneath but not a huge change visually) finally got released, and like all big updates there are the inevitable gremlins.

Today we received the feedback below.

Good to see some helpful examples to explain the issues were included. Not.

If it wasn't for the use of capitals and relatively reasonable grammar I would be querying whether "Frantic Frank" is an alter ego of our very own frantic troll in the other diesel thread. Then again he would have blamed Tony Abbott for the app.
