Is this badge Genuine

Hey guys.

Just got my first golf a 2011 ED 35.

Had a question regarding the German flag badges on the side, Are they from VW or some aftermarket addon,

They are on both sides same spot, and no where else on the car from what i can see.

Never seen them on another ED35.

The german flag is an aftermarket badge (they were quite popular to buy a few years ago). The 35 edition GTI only had the 35 badge on the front guards.

Use some dental floss to cut through the double sided tape holding them on and then a hairdryer and some goo remover to get any left over tape glue off.

Yep - what Lucas said.

I don't mind those angled badges in the grille or a better alternative to an APR badge.. but not sitting like that. They could have at least got the angled finish to line up with the 35!

can you do me a favour? after you take them off, find a BMW mini that has an English flag on the roof or door mirrors and stick it on their boot lid

As funny as the angle looks its actually a rectangle, Its all the camera door lines and the fact the 35 is leaning.

I actually meant they should have got a leaning flag - most of the ones I've seen are - as then it would have matched the 35 lean.

Anyway it's a minor point to a cool unique car, enjoy!

Ripped them off over the weekend, wasnt easy but got them off and the paints nice underneith.

Also removed the tow ball and gave her a big clean with the daughter.
