Done some small things to it like rear wiper delete and stubby antenna but not much else yet. Slowly accumulating parts for one big hit over the summer. Won't be at DOVW, but will be at SEDF, pending everything being present and fitted in.

Yep, K03S with the DBW. Not chipped yet, not in a hurry to, I'm satisfied with the power it has from stock (I came from an 8V 2.0L remember ). Suspension and wheels first.

Love the a3 I wanna install the new style head lights as well they look way better than the older style

keep in mind the wiring loom for the new lights is different to old ones.
franken k04 sounds good, not sure how much better it is over standard K04??

i prefer the facelift headlights, was there a big difference in power scwartza3 going from k03 to k04

I mean they've got plug-in wiring kits to convert pre-facelift wiring to plug into facelift headlights!

difference was mainly in mid/high range, im only running about 14-15psi compared to about 22psi on the ko3.
agu has tiny injectors and i kept getting a fuel cut above 17-18 so to keep things safe i adjusted it to 14-15. with 380cc/vr6 maf it would be a lot better.

how did you get to 22psi on a k03, mines running at 15

called audvolks they said $600 for headlight conversion which is probably a bit to much, ill probably spend the cash on getting it to 300hp anyway

i ran giac+mbc, it was pretty much the limit for the injectors on with k03, i hit limp mode once (fuel cut on AGU).
I'm thinking of going franken k04, read a lot of good reviews, just a little bit unsure how giac 380cc/vr6 maf program would be with this. What were you planning?

Futuras are 17x9" wide with 3" lips, 24mm offset front and back, 215x40 tires.
On a s3 you might be ok with 10" wide
