    still not sure about painting the centres, donno if i can pull it off.
    anyway, been playing around with the offset and this is what i got
    et27 front & back w/9"
    i had to lift the front by about 2cm
    i think the back looks fine but the front may be sticking out too much?
    what do you guys reckon?

        those offsets look great to me! I reckon it looks tough as with just a little bit of poke! Nice subtle stretch too. I'm a big fan of the combo.

              thanks alex, i saw a pic of your bay and it was like looking at mine:

              i cleaned up my injector wiring a bit and removed all the plastic of the fuel rail
              i'm gonna do the valve cover and intake eventually.

                          not much Ray, dropped the front by another 2cm (3rd & 4th pic on top of the page)
                          want to clean up the engine bay a bit more, paint the valve cover and intake, etc.
                          then i'll play around with the engine, i've had the vr6 maf housing for a while now, gotta get 380cc injectors and upgrade the program, turn up the boost a bit more and see what k04 can really do.
                          might try water meth injection as well.

                          alex, the lights are oem with red laminex
                          still got the black rears in case they ever make a comeback, you never know

                              headlights are from a facelift model.
                              there are a few things you have to do to fit these
                              you can either modify the wiring loom or use the existing loom and modify the plastic cap at the back of the headlight like i did since i already had hid's and didn't want to cut the wiring to fit the new style rectangular connector.
                              you also have cut out some of the bumper and plastic where the headlight sits.
                              i squeezed the ballast and all wires at the back of the headlight, looks stock.
                              i'll post some pics i took while i was doing it.

                                i couldn't find all the photos but here is what i did with the headlight caps to fit the existing connector.
                                cut out an opening to exact size of the original connector, also check the angle of the other half of the conncetor in your engine bay so once you plug them together you're not twisting the fuk out of the wires.


                                i used a rubber o ring to seal the hole, twisted the connector into place and some silicone around the connector just to make sure its sealed.

                                there is enough room for the ballast and all the wires to fit in there as well.

                                i said bumper needs to be cut before, i meant the fender.
                                you'd be able to see which bits need to be cut once you have the headlights, its basically the metal behind the indicator. I touched up the cut with a bit of paint to prevent rusting. the other bit that needs to be cut out is a bit of plastic where the front bumper slides into, this is also behind the indicator but at the bottom.
