Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hey fellas haven't ever posted up pics of the vr so after i cleaned her out got some nice shots in on the lawn and at night some of the interior. Feedback greatly appreciated!

      nah cant... not sure if you realised but i didnt take any pics of the passenger side cause some c**t reversed into my rear passenger side door and it wont be fixed by the nats soo yeah see what happens when lending a car you just got to your brother

          Those dial are available on eBay, been eyeing off a set myself. Only thing is those ones the main dial reads in miles with the little inner reading in KM/h. You can get KM ones now, although they aren't as common.

          These look like the ones above:


          The right one for my car is 20 - 260km/h like this one:

                Good stuff Dom Bring the car down to the Nats anyway, need as much support as we can get!

                        VR looks sweet dude. How do those chrome dial rings fit? are they good quality?

                        been looking at them for a while. Where did you get em?

                          the dials came with the car when i bought it they look to have fit perfectly. according to other members theres a few on ebay.
