The standard bar goes over the shaft and rubs when you go lower. The r32 one goes underneath by the look and hence no rubbing
Yep, assumed the correct answer to your own question haha.
I got mine off ecs. It doesn't bolt on straight to the end links as the r32 sway bar is shorter than the OEM gti one. If you scroll above you can see how I connected them, but I do plan to get adjustable end links some time soon
N75H race valve arrived today unexpectedly from 034 motorsports. 4 day shipping from the US. But anyway I put it in and took it for a drive, and boost comes on a lot faster than the stock n75. Something I'd definitely recommend for all chipped 1.8t guys.
So I finally pulled myself together and assembled what I needed for a k04 upgrade
A little 380cc injector (1 of 4)
Spacer kit
Silicone TIP from eBay
And finally the turbo itself. The k04-001 which came with an installation kit from ecs
The turbo went in the following week which I got it, and I went in the day after I dropped it off to get some stuff that I left behind. I got some potato shots while I was there too. Thanks to Gareth from north side European for the install
Spotted by my mate while he dropped his car off for a service
My mechanic was going to tune my ecu, but as it's an old ecu he couldn't communicate with it, due to his software that he deals with (quantum tuning). So I've been driving without the tune, and I plan on sending my ecu to Exoticars and get a giac chip.
