I have a thread in the Audi section that gets no love so thought I'd post it in here because she's an attention whore

I down traded the Polo GTI about a month back now on this old girl. Always loved them so thought why not.

Make: Audi
Model: S4
Colour: Merlin Pearl (factory ordered) AKA - The Purple Nurple
Engine: 2.7 Bi-Turbo Stage 1 MTM tune 18psi (stock 8psi)
Exhaust: Standard Downpipes/cats, MTM cat back
Interior: Silver leather
Suspension: ST Coilovers

Mods since ownership:
- Autometer Boost gauge.
- New TBB
- 16% Tint
- ST Coilovers
- Metallic gloss black roof wrap
- Refurbed the grill too.


Mods to come:
- TFSI Coil conversion and ICM delete
- SRM SMIC's
- SRM bi-pipes
- 034motorsport 3inch downpipes
- 3.5inch single exhaust with twin 3 inch tips
- Stern Snub, Tranny, Diff mounts and bushings.
- Aprikol Diff mount
- Larger rear sway bar (undecided on brand)
- Stage 2 tune

A little later on i want to go Stage 3 but I'm still looking into which turbos to go for so that's a while off unless of course I kill the standard K03's.

How she's sitting now. Height has been raised about an inch-inch and a half for a more friendly daily drive and tail light tints have been removed.
Needs some new number plates now I reckon, maybe some black Euro's? What do you think?

Cheers fellas. I bought her some new shoes today, I need to get some 8mm spacers for the front though to clear the ridiculously large front calipers which in turn will require my guards to be rolled SMH!

Blew my knuckles apart today doing a 2.0TFSI coil conversion and ICM delete.
Also put in some new plugs while I was at it. She purrs at idle now and these no spark breakdown in higher rpm's just pulls like an Ox to redline

Basically need to pull half the engine bay apart to get at the plugs and coils

Contrats on the new car - i only just saw this. I really like these S4's.

And nice mods so far - amazing what a difference just tint and some lowering can do to the way a car looks. Im liking the metallic black vinyl too - i see it didn't take you too long to get the vinyl out again

Nice choice on the RS4 rims - they look great. And good to see there is an ignition coil upgrade for this engine - nice to know its all brand new now.

Yeah it's a much smoother animal now with the Coil upgrade, the old coils were probably still the original parts the car came with.


On another note had a nice little package of Stern goodies arrive today courtesy of Mike @ Ringer Racing.
Snub mount, Transmission mounts and diff bushings. I've also got an Apikol Diff mount incoming so she should be a bit tighter all around once they are all fitted.
