Hey Lucas_R, you didn't see whether they had a similar lip offering for a Scirocco did you? My front bumper is getting a hammering with our steep driveway and although a lip means I'd lose another cm or so of height it would save my bumper!

The front LED indicators are a bugger aren't they. I wrote Bold Sport an email the other day saying that they don't fit properly but haven't heard back yet. Have you got a dremel or a file of some sort? You need to grind down some of the solder blobs so they dont stick out so far. Once you have done that then they will fit.....mind you, when you pay good money for a product that is designed to fit the car - they should bloody well fit.

Looks great Chris - I'd definitely be hitting you up to be at the front of the queue when you sell it. I might even and up joining you with a Mk7 R but I'd have to keep the R32 as wellMK5 R32 - 6spManual DBPE, fully optioned, Milltek, H&R Street Coilovers, Adams rotors, OZ Racing Grandturismos, VF Induction, Dieselgeek shortshifter

Haven't updated this in a while and i have made a few upgrades, New H&R springs installed, really happy with the results, super smooth ride and much better grip in the corners
I also fitted some new Hankook S1 Evo2 tyres and they are out of this world, super high grip level in all conditions and well as being very quiet, i highly recommend these, plus now with the spring also i have zero understeer

I didn’t really want to go the full expense of an exhaust just yet so I decided to just replace the factory tips instead with these Black Chrome ones.
They were very difficult to find and the place I got them from is no longer there but after many request we are tracking them down and hope to have them available for sale, Watch this space.
Maniacs DSG Paddle Shifters
Next on the cards were some updated paddle shifters, initially I bought some alloy S2T shifters but after fitting just one I was very unhappy with the feel of them,
I kinda lost the factory “click” if you know what I mean, so I settled on the Maniacs and absolutely love them, best DSG mod you can do.
Tune and Cold Air Intake
It was time for some more power and after a long and wide search I settled on the services of James at BPS Auto’s.
It was really nice to talk to the actual person doing the tune and for him to listen to what you want out of it.
Soon after we added a Volant CAI from Tarmac Engineering and the results were awesome!
Custom TT-S Engine Cover
I was very impressed with the OEM look of the Volant CAI that it left the rest of the engine bay looking a little unfinished as I decided to do some custom work on a TT-S engine cover,
it went so well I sold my original one and started making a few, a bit of hard work but the results are great!
P3 Gauge
Again with the hunt for that factory look I decided to go with the P3 Gauge that is mounted in the air vent,
there is not many places to mount a boost gauge that I liked and after hearing all the problems with the Polar-FIS this was the only option.
I liked the way it offers multiple functions and the addition of and analogue input for the boost gauge to get actual intake manifold pressure.
Boost tap for analog sender
After installing the P3 with the optional analog sender I needed a way of taping into the intake manifold so I could connect it to the P3 unit,
the ECS kit was at a good price with everything you need to do the job, I also liked the way it has the U clip to lock it in place. It can be found HERE
My car being a DSG i was able to put the boost hose through the rubber seal where the clutch booster would normally be,
makes for an easy install to the P3 analog sensor.
Quattro badge
Ok so I know “technically” it’s not a Quattro but the 4Motion badges are just so dam ugly and I could find one small enough to do what I wanted so I went with the Quattro.
I'll keep it on until i get bored with it.
R logo Seat insert
These badges are actually designed for the standard Golf R seats but the shape is very similar I thought id give it a go as you can’t but any for the actual Recaro seats.
I had to use automotive double sided tape to stick them on as the adhesive that it can with was not strong enough to hold it in place, not perfect but im happy with the result.
Future MOD List
H&R Lowered coils
Adjustable Shocks & Struts
Turbo back exhaust (Looking at custom designing our own dump pipe and centre section and Millteck rear section)
DSG Tune
So that's my build thread, hope you enjoyed all the work that you see, please feel free to PM me if you have any questions or if your in Brisbane and want to come along to a DIY day,
just let me know and i'll send you a PM next time we are doing one. Happy to help anyone with any of the mods you see above.
Cheers
Frazza (Chris)

Been a while since i have updated my build thread so my first post has been updated and now some new additions;
Ok so the new addition to my RB R is the install of MK7 Climatronic unit, i love the look and feel of this unit so much more than the factory one, fitting it was dead easy, honestly about 10 to 15mins, everything works and has a much more integrated look to it especially at night.
Night
Here are a few updated shot i took after a recent polish

Hi Frazza,
Nice ride! Quite jealous haha.
I have a question about the EZ Lip. I purchased myself the alternative product, the Rhino Lip, but my question is how did you apply it?
I don't know which tape to use, and I am quite reluctant to put screws into the front bar
Cheers!

Love the car bro! Quick question...
How did you get your hands on the MK 7 climatronic unit? I'd love a HD MY13.5 MFD/dash for my MY13 (****ers) Scirocco, but wouldn't have a clue where to get one....
Cheers man. You've inspired me to get an intake, tune and exhaust mine!
