Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

            Looking good Ray

Wheels work perfect with the black rub strips.

Ray mate your car looks "Da ducks nuts"... Its immaculate... U should be proud of it... I hope to have my Mk3 looking so so so good like yours...

Little things go a long way... Also the photos and the spot just set it off... Is it a tip/rubbish dump by any chance???

Keep it up and i cant wait to see your VR6...

              Roock on....

              James

                Cheers guys.

James - it was in an abandoned warehouse that had a corner of it ripped out. I pass it every day on the way to the local train station and have kept it in the back of my head that I'll have to go there for a photoshoot one day With the right camera and skills, it would look really good I think. Anyway, kinda makes the Golf look like a "(white) rose in a concrete world"

Correct! I just smoothed out the gutter rashes to make it look presentable and tried satin black paint to see how it looks.

                        Before the satin black:

                        Thanks guys

If you look close at this one:

You can make out they are 14"

                            These are 16":

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
