Adelaide Photo Locations ?

Holy thread revival batman!

I scoped out Port Adelaide for photo locations recently; decided to give Crozier St a go, at dawn on a Sunday morning. Good location, not such a great time, thanks to the dozens of trucks coming and going. Still, managed to get a few shots off before the semis scared me off:

I can just imagine some mad dashes to and from the car to position it, take the shot and move it before the next truck comes along.

Good to see that you're following the signs and parking in the designated areas.

I'm told that sunset on a Saturday or Sunday evening are a go.

Yes but at that time you're also going to be competing with the wedding photographers for prime locations

Windy Point at sunrise can be cool, as can some clearings along the roadside in the hills.

The Hills and down south which I am more familiar with have a few potential spots I'm thinking of.. I might need
to go for a drive, purely for scoping purposes of course.

Plenty of good spots down south, depending on the type of location you're looking for (urban/industrial, scenic/landscape, etc). I tend to gravitate towards the southern suburbs myself.
