Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Well i guess this is sort of related. I made a time lapse movie lastnight. It was shot from inside the car and shows much of the CBD. This was made up of around 360 photos, which were 2 second exposures taken 10 seconds apart.

    Hope you enjoy.

Couldn't help stopping at BP Artarmon for that fill of Ultimate

Nice video, although I think the extended exposures made it difficult to figure out your route (although going Pyrmont - Chatswood via Kings Cross seems kind of odd?)

Were you able to program the shutter release at regular intervals, and fi so, how did you do that?

              Thanks guys,

Camera was setup in the back on a tripod.
I used the Powerbook to trigger the shutter via usb. There is a neat little Nikon program called Camera Control Pro, and its got a time lapse function. You set your exposure to what ever you like open the time lapse controller function and you can set the amount of frames you wanna shoot, and the delay between each frame. Easy as
