Cheers for the comments. It's the 1.8L KR engine putting out about 200hp at the wheels. More to come. I had a friend do the fab on the manifold (does look pretty sweet even if i do say so myself, matches the style of the car pretty well too) I planned the build, built engine, put pieces together and wired the Wolf ecu, good learner project. Left the fabrication and machining to more skilled people. Knew nothing about cars before I started on this one. Oh and yes it goes pretty well, drives nice except for the clutch (a bit severe, 4 puk). The first time I drove it fresh off the dyno scared the **** out of me. Almost ran into the back of another car.

Couldnt be too hard to wire up if I did it. Don't have any experience as such but the wiring diagrams are pretty good. Nothing of the original fuel or ignition system remain. Had a plate made up for the crank for the ignition pick up, throttle position sensor from toyota of some sought and now using falcon coil packs (i think from memory). Supra injectors, bosch fuel pump and malpassi rising rate fuel reg make up the basis for fueling up. All in all pretty easy to set up once I had the right bits.

ah ok, i've got a wolf at home from my old mk1 if it is fairly easy to do thats great, it's been the only thing holding me back from putting a kr into my gti. I don't want kjet and digi is a nightmare to set up, Might look into it all further.
