My Mk1 Scirocco 16V turbo

After sitting in my shed for the last 5 Years my Scirocco is finally back on the road. Here area few pic's I took after she had a well deserved wash.

Cheers, long story, lets just say that the whole turbo conversion was a very long $$$ consuming, frustrating, process. After another problem arose I had had enough for a while so closed the bonnet until I was ready to continue. Wish this site was around then. Would have made life much easier.

Looks pretty cool the facelift is the prettier of the two imo.
How much hp? is that the 1.8 KR in there? or the 2L 9A?

I had a mk1 Rocco for 8 years, i miss it everyday....they just bite ya and never let go such cool cars to chuck about!

One problem i had here in nz, is i could never get a laminated windscreen for it.
Only lame safety glass ones....can you get them? if ever?
