bro 195's on a 9" tyre is too much for my car lol...I still want to be able to turn lol. I almost didn't consider 205's because 215's were safer.

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I know you love your arches but I'm gonna put it out there and say the wheels will look better without them!!! But wheels look great, especially the 9's.

I agree with Dom, 195's all round.
Kuhmos stretch alright, not too agressive and over the top as they have a decent sidewall.
Mate runs 195 KU31s on a 9.5" and its pretty decent.

Modernlines are the shiz.
They look so good on a mk3.
Any colour options or are they staying standard?

Nice mickey, if u want i still have some nankang ns2 rubber with good tread (80%+) that i traded ray for if u want em cheap. They are 195/45 and 205/45 from memory. Only downside is that the sidewall is scratched from ray's scrubbage but ur welcome to come and have a look!
Did u end up paying import tax for those puppies??

Don't be bitter Steve.. Not everyone comes up with an idea that hasn't been done before (now that would be pretty hard when you think about it..)
