T4 engine number

Can someone please tell me the location of the engine number on a T4 2.5l petrol please?

On the block, near the starter motor.

I don't know if the petrol is the same as the 2.5TDI but take a look on the top of the cam belt cover if the paper sticker is still in place.
It should also be in the original service book, providing it's the original engine, & also be on the rego papers.
