T5.1 advise needed on dpf issues

Thanks for that one Craigs902 yes we were warned when we bought our new T5 that we should check the oil frequently , they told us if it needed topping up that they had a "Pit Stop "service at the dealer just for engine oil refilling . If the dealers are aware then why hasn't VW addressed the problem , Jeezus my work 2005 T5 with now over 300000 on the pitiful 2.0 petrol doesn't use oil anywhere near what I have read some VW owners are now experiencing with some of these newer models .

Not sure if anyone knows about this forum, It's in German but so far they have 160 T5 CFCA that have log problems with oil and this is not counting the U.K. or now Australia.
