The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • VW 2015 T5 transporter armrests???

I've been searching around for a while now and I can't seem to get hold of anyone that stocks armrests for my new van.
I have been in contact with VW spare parts but they want $400 an armrest!!!!

I've emailed a few companies in the UK about it but they don't deliver to AUS.

    Can anyone help me!!!!!???????

I got some folding adjustable armrests from a mate of mine who used to change them for a mobile home company on the Gold Coast , apparently the original ones were removed and some new ones fitted so my mate just used to toss them away !! . Now whilst not original VW they fit fine with only one new hole to be drilled into the side of the seat back rest . It was easy to unclip the bottom of the cover and then peel the cover up to expose the bottom part of the seat back {squab } The foam pad was just folded up to get to the side steel then bolt the base plate into place drill the extra hole and then refit the cover and foam . Then the actual armrest just attaches with one locating bolt . They are grey vinyl with black base and an adjustable knob under the front to adjust the angle . Lucky for you the guy I got them from is at Burleigh Heads These one's were recovered to match the trim as I recovered the seats as well Click image for larger version

Thanks mate. Just bought a new to us 2008 transporter. More room for my daughters wheelchair. Started sound proofing and a few other little mods. Thank you so much for your help.
