T5 08 2.5 TDI Losing steering fluid and damaged steering boot/gaiter

HiI have a T5 08 2.5 TDI 4motion with 158000 KMI noticed that the steering was making quite a bit of noise suddenly.No lights on the dashboard.I checked the steering reservoir and was 1/3 full so I got some Penrite LHM Plus and filled it up.A week or so later it started to make the same noise so I looked around and I found that the steering boot is damaged.Do you guys know if the leak is just from the boot or is there more to it than that?PC
