I live in Newcastle and have purchased a 2007 Transporter T5 2.5 tdi diesel Crewman with 207,000 Km it has a full service book carried out by a non VW mechanic it appears to be in good order.
I will install a basic camper fit out.

Hi all, just purchased a Transporter T5 08 2.5 LWD 4motion with a mid roof.
It was a people mover in a mine in QLD and had a 50mm lift kit already.
I have taken out some of the seats and the second aircon and planning to put some chunky tyres so I can take it to Fraser Island etc... ...

I can't remember this link being posted before but could be of interest to someone on here.
One thing that was mentioned was "the 2.5 litre is also prone to premature camshaft wear"
