Hi All, noticed a drip beneath my '97 T4 ,2.5 petrol engine Transporter this morning. I managed to remove the metal shroud from beneath the motor and found oil dripping from the pipes attached to the lowest component that is belt driven in this area. Any suggestions on the best solution ? What is this component? I live in the bush , so it is a fair trip to the nearest dealer and I am reluctant to risk a loss of oil on the way. It looks like engine oil, but the dipstick level is correct. Thanks in advance, Rossel.
