Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

And going back on topic, why are T5 front seats wider then T5gp and T6, my jean size has remained the same in case you want to know
Hey mate, before you buy Vito, go through it with the magnifying glass. I've picked up my 4x4 Sprinter on the 4th of November and my old T5 looks like the VW didn't spare any expense during designing and manufacturing process in comparison to the MB.

I agree with Tornado on the early T5 auto , I also followed the VW NON service procedure until it became a box of broken parts .Blocked filter coupled with burnt decaying fluid is not what I expected from supposed smart engineers , I will say it again VW do not test their cars here so the real world we Aussies experience is very different to a few weeks of testing in Iceland or Nevada .End of rant where's the Tylenol !!!

Cheers, the Vito is more stylish and looks new whereas the T6 looks like an update, I just wish VW Aust was more flexible with power train and body combinations. Would love to hear your feedback where appropriate.

I would loved to have the option of the 2.0 petrol turbo model that was according to early reports one of the alternative power trains 150 kw sounds sweet . .
