Hi,
Now that second of the electric doors on my '06 4motion has failed, I had to do something about it! I have pulled the cable out of one side and will use the door manually until I get a repair kit but I couldn't see how to carry out one part of the refitting task.
How do I access the point at which the end of the front end of the cable is held in with a spring clip? The only way I could see might be to remove the front pulley housing (for want of a better word) but the it is very difficult to get to one of the 7mm nuts. Or do I need to remove the runner (channel) that is fixed to the vehicle with 5 (or so) bolts?
I hope I've made sense to someone out there more learned than me! If not, I'll take a photo or try explain it better.
Thanks,
Andy.
