T5 front bench seat??

Hi guys, I'd like to be able to seat a third person in my t5, what are my options? I've seen double passenger seats on ebay but they seem damn expensive! Does anyone have one for sale or know of a t5 with one being parted out etc? I should just be able to bolt out and bolt in a bench/double seat in my 08 t5 shouldn't I?

I highly doubt that.
What's your rego paper saying about the seating capacity?

You could ask at Wiltshire on South rd. they may have the seat and are qualified to fit the seat.

What seats do the VW T5 ute's run as there is one being wrecked in Brisbane I saw it the other day , and no I did not take notice of the seats as I was looking for something else . Having the seating capacity changed won't be too much of a problem as using factory seats will make it legit .

They are bloody uncomfortable, no adjustment at all.

No, but that's good info, I might need to troll wreckers to test them. Does anyone know a good vw wrecker in Adelaide?

How did you get on? Find a suitable seat? Is it comfy?

I want to do the same, but as they're supposed to be uncomfortable, want to keep the single seat and swap it back after my impending road trip.

Yeah, there's no adjustment in the bench seat so you can't lay it back or anything.

It does fold forward and has plenty of storage space underneath though.

Well, I know about the storage space but I've never been able to move it in any way!
