  • Drivers door wiring diagram T5

By chance does any one know the wiring color codes for the drivers door on a 2005 T5 .The drivers side locking solenoid has stopped working but it seems it is probably a fractured wire going through the grommet as it will lock all the time by remote and then occasionally it will unlock for a few times by remote . It's a bit of a pain using the key to unlock , thanks in advance guys .

Can't help with the wiring diagram, however I head exactly the same issue but in the passengers door and researching the UK T4 forum mentioned that before pulling the front door panel apart etc. check the wiring under front passenger seat for corrosion etc. as that is a common cause if the issue-yet to get around to doing mine (pass. door so not as pressing).

Yes I had seen that one and I will check but I don't think its there as the opening and closing of the door will change the symptom .

Definitely check the condition of the wiring.

If all is ok, it may the latch module on it's last legs.
