I am in the process of purchasing a 2010 Transporter T5 4 motion, it has done 130000 k's, What should i look out for when i inspect, Also it doesn't have Cruise Control, how much would it cost to purchase either the factory standard or an aftermarket option?

Is yours an "update "model or the previous series , doesnt really matter as there are cruise controls from the UK which are factory for only around $256 delivered , link here for option models to suit our 2010 update was "kit 2" VW Teesside - Online Shop - Transporter T5 GP 2010 onwards Retrofit Cruise Control . They come with complete instructions once fitted you will need someone to activate the system through VAGCOM. takes acouple of hours to fit worse part is the one wire connection under the battery in the main fuse compartment . -

Agree Umai we have cruise in both of our T5' one early series and the latest one they work perfectly , if there was one thing I think needs sorting is that once its engaged the in dash light is not really much to anounce that its engaged with aftermarket ones I have had in the past a green led would indicate the system was on and it would change to red when it was engaged you never missed the fact it was engaged that way .Comment
