I am looking for a tailgate tent suitable for the Multivan. I want something that is quick and easy to erect and that would provide privacy for shower or toilet use. I know that there is a genuine VW tent available in Europe but as is usual this is not available here. I have had a quick look on the internet with little success, does anybody know of such a thing out there?

You could try Trakka. They sold one for the T4 when it was current but pricey at around $950 from memory.Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.

look up fiamma Superior Quality Products for Motorhomes, Caravans and Camper Vans - Fiamma n check the catalogue for T5-specific stuff, everything from awnings to rear tent n other accessories...
or, another option would be an oztent...which takes 30 seconds to setup, canvas n aluminium frame...would be my pick, you can get extra walls that would envelope around the open tailgate...Comment
