First install completed today and looks good. Looking forward to seeing them in the night. And then instal a pair on my van.
A couple of tips if you are trying this from the link I posted earlier.
1) The power supply is the Red with white strip wire at the window motor near the front edge of the door.
2) The earth is the Black wire running in to the back edge of the door through the rubber grommet to the central locking. (This wire only allows the light to be on when the door is open)
It is a little confusing doing the first door when you are testing with door open, door closed etc.
I will post some pics later today.
Hopefully do my van tomorrow.
So installed the Door lights on my van this morning. (a 1 hour job when you know what you are looking at)
Here are some pic's that may help.
Installed bottom of the door. (hole drill supplied with lights)
Positive is picked up from the Red/white wire going into the window motor.
Negative is from the lead going through the rubber gromet on the back edge of the door (Black/brown)
The light only turns on when the door opens. (no night shots yet)
