Going to take a bucket load of sound deadner to be able quieten down the noise as I would imagine with air intake and engine right inside the cab noise would be high .

The alternative is to use a dual cab chassis as the basis for this job rather than the van...long chassis and engine in the open air...though I reckon a breathed over Dunnydore V6 would be adequate rather than this beautifully insane example.

Holy lumpin, only just stumbled across this, fun idea, must have been funn rigging up throttle ? Would love to see that along with the gear linkage set up.

This also reminds me of when I transplanted a Holden 186 motor auto and diff into a Toyota Hi Ace that originally had a1600cc engine , thing used to fly as well . I hand made engine and gearbox mounts custom made by hand the exhaust and the tailshaft and rear spring mounts .
