I believe there might be a plan to build in Asia as well. Ford Aust. sources Ranger, Focus and Fiesta from Thailand and three new plants are under construction/built in China.

Gotta admit, there is some well thought out features in that van.
I wonder if they can follow up on these well thought out features with a quality build? Be a shame to have such a well thought out van, and then to find out it is a POS.
Power wise, I think these are down on our 132kw versions.

I don't think that's a problem....I can only find reference to manual trans. models, lol...although the DSG in Fords doesn't seem to attract as much "lively discussion" as the VW units and seem to operate with more smoothness. Let's hope the ZF 8 speed in the Amarok & Toureg, and it's reason for being chosen based on overheating problems of DSG's in the same situation sways VW in T6...that would make me very, very happy.
