I have done one and a Crafter too.

Neither have been dyno'd but they don't hang about!!

It's written from the software in your ECU and flashed back in. No dyno.

I have a Viezu tune on my 09 128kw. It goes good, not mind blowing but enough to surprise people at a set of lights or on the FWY up a hill. No improvement in economy though but your probably not looking for that.

I'm in Newcastle, if your down this way and want to go for a ride let me know.

I've had a tune on my T5 transporter runner ( Blufin by superchips). Power is up and pulls hard in 3rd, but economy is down for sure. Ivo, who did your Viezu tune?

I get 0.25L/100km better now than with the stock map, with many very short trips I get 9.7L/100km last time I've checked and better when I do few longer trips.

That pipes isnt really any good as a delete pipe. I know that Custom-Code delete software needs all the sensors fitted in the pipe regardless.

I don't fancy your chances of finding a dyno tune and I don't think a non VW specialist tuner would fair any better than a European derived tune, written for the job.

From what your saying the best option is to remover the DPF from the van, unscrew all the sensors. Smash the DPF internals out with a steel rod then put the sensors back in then fit the DPF back to the van?

The research (UK forums) I did on DPF removal was be vary careful about who does the coding. Some have no clue and just turn off the dash light but the ECU still thinks the DPF is there but its not so your not getting full benefit of having the tune allow for the reduction in back pressure.

I did it myself, they sent me the box that plugs into the van, I downloaded the factory tune and emailed the file away. They then emailed me back a few different tunes to try. I loaded them onto the box then loaded a tune to the van.

I was going to rent a dyno and try all the different tunes but never got around to it.
