Thanks Transporter. I am trying compare to a dealer price of $250 per disc (OEM part 7h0615601b)! I would have thought $250 for the pair!

Yes, you're right. The ATE are the VW OEM, nice discs, don't rust.
I went with the RDA slotted and they distorted before 20,000km, I will not buy them again, but still have the RDA slotted for the rear that are due on my van as well, so I will just use them, machine the front discs and hope they will be OK after that.

The prices I quoted you aren't recomended retails and the dealer may have different margins than independed workshops. Which is understandable since they have much bigger overheads and more people to pay.
